A master room (Please check the attachment below) in a nice 2B/1B apartment is available for sublet from Jan. 1 to Mar. 31. The starting date can be negotiated, and you could choose to extend the lease with the leasing office. The address is 300 Regina Street North, Waterloo, close to both U Waterloo and Laurier University. The apartment is featured with a full furbished kitchen, a nice balcony (with good view from the 15th floor) and a large living room, washer/dryer in the basement floor. As seen from the attached picture, the room for sublet comes with a nice closet for storing your personal things. You could also have free access to a big and recently refurbished gym. Parking space is not included, but can be obtained from the leasing office with a monthly fee of CAD$45. I am a (Chinese female) postdoc at U Waterloo, but you will only stay with one (Chinese female) roommate who is clean and easy-going, a master student at Laurier University.

If you choose the room coming with my furnitures (all of which were bought brand new and only used since March 2017. You could take it with you or sell it as you wish when you move out), the sublease rate is CAD$785 with waived water fee, and you will pay for the shared electricity and internet fees (approximately CAD$60/month). The total rent is $1430, and the rent is calculated with area ratio: each one pays for the full area of each room plus half of all the other areas. Thus, please note that you have half of the areas for each common space, or you could negotiate with the Laurier girl about how to share the spaces (for instance, she has a nice sofa and a coffee table in the living room at present).

Or, the rent can be negotiable if you choose to move in with less furnitures in the room or no furnitures at all.
